Online Assistant Job Description
The Online Assistant will work closely with our production and marketing teams to create and execute marketing campaigns for our authors and their books and for the company and its imprints, as well as provide administrative support to our CEO.
A sample of duties include:
- drafting press releases
- creating and posting social media content
- creating content for our website
- distributing promotional content
- creating marketing documents for our titles
- spreadsheet management
- data management
- working with authors to prepare them for publication
The online assistant should be able to work independently and must possess excellent communication skills (with email, phone, and Zoom Conferences), strong design skills (knowledge of Canva a plus), a strong understanding of English grammar, a high level of creativity, a strict sense of professionalism, and a congenial personality.
This is an entry-level part-time, remote position, at an estimated five hours per week.
Online Assistant is expected to have their own computer and consistent access to Wi-Fi.
